The SUV shares most of its features and design details with the Curvv EV, except for the few visual changes.
The new Tata Curvv is based on the new Atlas platform, which will also underpin a wide range of future Tata cars including the next-gen Nexon and Sierra. It will be offered with 3 engine options - a 118bhp, 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol, a 116bhp, 1.5L Kryotec diesel and a 123bhp, 1.2L direct-injection turbo petrol. The electric SUV will receive EV-specific design changes like a closed-off front grille, charging socket at the front, and new alloy wheels.
The cabin spy images reveal that the electric SUV will have Ioniq 5-like 2-spoke steering wheel with a circular hub and a drive mode selector stalk mounted on the steering wheel. It will also come equipped with ADAS and a 360-degree camera. It is expected that the Creta EV will source its powertrain with the global Kona EV, which gets a front-axle mounted electric motor and a 45kWh battery pack.
Maruti Suzuki will introduce the production version of the eVX electric SUV in the country in 2025. Likely to debut at 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, the new Maruti Suzuki eVX will be locally developed at Suzuki's Gujarat-based manufacturing plant and will be exported to select international markets including Europe and Japan.
The new Maruti Suzuki eVX will also mark the debut of the brand's new skateboard platform, which will also underpin Toyota's version of the SUV. It will rival the Mahindra XUV400, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV and the MG ZS EV. The eVX electric SUV is likely to be offered with two battery pack options - a 48kWh and a 60kWh. While the smaller battery pack is expected to offer a range of up to 400km, the bigger battery pack will offer a certified range of over 500km on a single charge.

The new model will share styling cues from the Kushaq SUV. Inside the cabin, the SUV is likely to get an 8-inch or a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital driver's display, wireless connectivity, an electric sunroof and others.
The new model will be based on the modified MQB AO IN platform. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. More details here.

This tech will be first introduced in the Fronx facelift, which is scheduled to be launched sometime in 2025. The updated model will use the all-new Z12E, three-cylinder engine, which will act as a generator to charge a 1.5-2kWh battery pack or drive an electric motor. This electric motor will drive the front wheels.
The new model is rumoured to offer a fuel efficiency of over 35kmpl. The updated model is also likely to receive subtle design changes and an upgraded interior along with addition of new features.
