Hyundai Alcazar 2024 and Creta have various engines that offer them different experiences in terms of performance and driving.
In terms of engines, the new Alcazar 2024 has maintained its top range of engines. These include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol that gives 157.81bhp and 253Nm as well as either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT and diesel is also a 1.5-litre, which produces 114.41bhp and 250Nm of torque with power being transmitted via a 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic transmission. Both engines come with idle engine start/stop for improved fuel consumption.
On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta gets an altogether different set of motors. The base model comes with an aspirated petrol engine displacing 1.5 litre producing 113.42bhp along with 144Nm torque, whereas there is also turbo petrol displacing 1.5 litre producing 145.68bhp along with 233Nm torque. Hyundai Alcazar 2024 dimensions will more likely remain the same as the existing model: 4500mm length, 1790mm width, and 1675mm height. Concerning wheelbase, there are 2760mm and boot space occupies 180-litres.
Just a little bit less than this is what the Hyundai Creta looks like. It measures 4300mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1635mm in height, with a 2610mm wheelbase. In addition, it has a comparatively larger trunk with a capacity of 433-litres.

The Hyundai Alcazar 2024 and Creta differ is in implementation, even though both portray the brand's design philosophy.
The facelifted design of the Alcazar looks more mature and aggressive compared to its predecessor. It will have a new rectangular grille up front, with a redesigned bumper and an eyebrow-shaped skid plate. H-shaped LED DRLs and updated headlight designs from the 2024 Hyundai Creta are also pegged for the model. The Creta is handsome with its modern look featuring a traditional chrome-highlighted grille along with a trio-beam LED headlamp. Distinctive wheel arches are featured with stylish 17-inch alloy wheels and black plastic cladding around the vehicle. The rear features a sculpted tailgate, a shark-fin antenna, a roof-mounted spoiler, and LED lights, including a center brake light. The design is sleek and contemporary, while the sporty theme in the Creta is strong.
Inside, both are increasingly premium with their respective updates and features.
The cabin of the Hyundai Alcazar 2024 comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. The cabin boasts a dual-tone theme with new shades like Noble Brown and Haze Navy. Headrests are more pronounced in the second row, with folding extensions, while the fixed center console has now been discarded for easier access to the third row. ventilated seats in the third row, plus a wireless charging pad and electronic settings with memory functions, are offered in the Alcazar.
The interior of Creta is all-black in color, while the layout of the dashboard is sleek and ergonomic. The equipment list comprises a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a wireless charging pad, and a smart panoramic sunroof. Other features include a healthy air purifier, ventilated front seats, blue ambient lighting, and an electric parking brake with auto hold. On the whole, the cabin of the Creta feels rather upmarket, considering the high-quality materials and well-thought-out ergonomics.
Safety is a crucial component of both vehicles and thus, both cars stand strong in this regard.
The Hyundai Alcazar 2024 comes with a comprehensive set of safety features that includes six airbags, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 360-degree camera, blind spot assist, VSM or Vehicle Stability Management, HAC or Hill-Start Assist Control, ESC or Electronic Stability Control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Other features include TPMS, or tyre pressure monitoring system, and front and rear parking sensors.
Hyundai Creta, too, claims to have the most robust safety package with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, a rearview camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The more premium variants take it several notches higher with Level 2 ADAS safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, auto emergency braking, and blind spot detection for improved overall safety.

Price turns out to be a deal-breaker for many. The Hyundai Creta starts at Rs. 11.00 lakh and goes up to Rs. 20.00 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new pricing of the Hyundai Alcazar 2024 will be announced on September 9, and bookings have already started with Rs. 25,000. It is expected to cost between Rs. 16 lakh and Rs. 22 lakh (ex-showroom). No doubt, its length compared to the Creta and the added features will surely make the Alcazar a costlier variant.
Be it the Hyundai Alcazar 2024 or the Hyundai Creta, both these options seem fascinating in their respective segments. While the former is bigger, with better features and three rows, hence ideal for big families looking for space, the latter, with its sleek design and good features, will do the job for those looking for an overstuffed and stylish SUV. Which one to go for depends on what you want and need.
