Mahindra opens bookings in dramatic fashion; Receives over 1 lakh bookings in 30 minutes; Deliveries to commence from 26th September 2022
Mahindra & Mahindra had opened bookings for the All-New Scorpio N from the 30th of July 2022 after unveiling the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ on the 27th of June 2022. The company had enabled the add to cart feature on its website since the launch allowing customers to spec their desired Scorpio N and keep it ready for booking. These efforts paid off as the company has received a record breaking 1 lakh plus bookings on day 1.
Mahindra’s attempt to build a hype around its ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ has paid off as the company garnered over 1,00,000 bookings within the first 30 minutes of opening its portal. Available for booking at a token amount of Rs 21,000, the Scorpio N has been the buzz of town for the last couple of weeks and this has resulted in the company receiving an order worth more than Rs 18,000 crores on day 1 of bookings. This massive demand has exceeded the homegrown manufacturer’s estimate of 25000 bookings, for which it had announced the introductory prices.
Deliveries of the Scorpio N are set to commence on the 26th of September 2022. However the time period of delivery will depend entirely on which variant you have selected and what is your booking number in the queue. Living by its customer-centric approach, Mahindra is offering its first-ever ‘Bookings Amendment Window’. This allows the buyers to edit their choice of variants and colours until midnight of August 15 without affecting the benefits of the introductory price.
In addition, the company has also rolled out a new “FinN” finance scheme, solely designed for Scorpio N customers. This scheme comprises several benefits for the customers, such as up to 100 percent on-road funding, attractive ROI at 6.99 percent and tenure options of up to 10 years.
The introductory price of the Mahindra Scorpio N starts from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra Scorpio N rivals the likes of Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus in its segment.
