The production-spec XM doesn’t deviate much from its concept form in terms of design. The SUV gets the same split LED headlamp set-up like the new X7 and the 7-Series. The classic BMW kidney grille has shrunk in size, but is expected to get an illumination function from the concept version. The lower part of the front bumper carries a prominent air intake along with a radar for the ADAS functions. Towards the rear, the sleek LED tail lamps from the concept have been replaced by conventional units that extend to the sides of the car. Other highlights include vertically stacked quad exhaust set-up distinctive rear bumper design and aggressive wheel arches.
