New Car Buying Platform
Recently, Hyundai India started accepting bookings for the new Creta facelift. Now, the excitement is building up as the automaker has just unveiled a sneak peek of its design through a sketch. The SUV is set to be officially launched on January 16, 2024, and is expected to compete with the Kia Seltos.
Let's get into the design details and other features:
The design of the new Creta is inspired by some of the latest Hyundai cars like the entry-level Hyundai Exter and the new Santa Fe. The front of the SUV features an all-new black chrome grille. The bumper holds the stylish quad-beam LED headlamps and LED DRLs, all surrounding a faux plate. Moving to the rear, the SUV boasts a long LED bar on the tailgate, along with redesigned LED taillamps, a silver skid plate, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a modified rear bumper. While the side profile has not been fully revealed yet, it is expected to be quite similar to the current model.
Apart from exterior changes, Hyundai has made significant updates on the inside as well. The upcoming Creta SUV will boast a dual 10.25-screen setup; one is for an infotainment system and the other one is for a digital instrument cluster.
Top-spec variants will provide dual-zone climate control, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-way powered driver's seat, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and more. Level-2 ADAS suite will also be on offer which will have 19 functions.
The updated Creta is keeping its regular engines, like the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units that come with automatic or manual gearboxes. But, here is the exciting part - the SUV is also getting a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine will come with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
