India’s #1
New Car Buying Platform
Hyundai Motor India has announced the commencement of bookings for the highly awaited Creta Facelift. Interested customers can grab their upgraded Creta by making a booking amount of Rs 25,000 either at the nearest dealership or via the company's official website. Buyers who had booked a New Creta prior to this news release can go in for the facelift depending upon their requirements.
In comparison to the pre-facelift, the new compact SUV will provide a new look with a boxy design. Based on the Sensuous Sportiness Design language, it will offer an upgraded grille featuring three horizontal slats. The headlights, in particular, will be rectangular and vertical, while there will be an LED-connected light strip.
Its side profile will more or less look the same as the existing model, however, it could get a new set of alloy wheels to improve the overall appearance. Moving towards the rear, it will provide a redesigned tailgate with new design elements such as a full-width LED tail light bar, and a bigger bumper.
The upcoming Creta's interior is going to be different from the current model. The standout feature here is a fully redesigned dashboard layout. Unlike before, it now provides dual screens seamlessly integrated into a single unit. Besides, as per the officially released images, it will have sleek air-conditioning vents, a 4-spoke steering wheel, a slimmer centre console, and a touch-based climate control module that will help add a futuristic touch to the cabin.
Hyundai Creta Facelift will continue using the existing set of engine options. These will include a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor and diesel unit In both scenarios, their maximum power output will stand at 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
However, according to the official information, it has now been confirmed that the SUV will also get a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit, borrowed from the New Hyundai Verna. This will deliver an impressive 157 bhp of power and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission choices will remain diverse, including a 6-speed manual, a CVT, a 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Once launched, the 2024 New Hyundai Creta will compete against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate in its segment.
