MG4 EV Hatchback: Exterior Design & Interior Layout

MG4 Exterior

The New MG4 is a pure electric hatchback from the British brand. Its sleek and futuristic design is inspired by the Cyberster Roadster Concept. The front end is recognizable with its sculpted bonnet, angular headlights and LED DRLs. The central air intake on the front bumper is another key design element to watch out for. Moving on to the side profile, the model gets two character lines and a set of dual-tone alloy wheels. The tailgate features a boot lid spoiler and LED taillights.

MG4 Interior

On the inside, the MG4 highlights a minimalist interior. Its dashboard features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system while the driver gets a 7-inch digital instrument console. In terms of features, the EV offers a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, a sunroof, OTA updates, and more. Further, it is said to come equipped with ADAS technology such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

MG4 EV Hatchback: Battery Pack

MG4 Battery

The hatchback will be offered with two battery pack options; a small 51 kWh alongside a larger 64 kWh. Both battery packs will power a single rear-axle-mounted motor but will come in two states of tune. The smaller 51 kWh battery pack is expected to produce 170 bhp while the larger battery pack of 64 kWh will deliver 203 bhp. Both packs create 250 Nm of peak torque. If using a 150 kW DC fast charger, the battery pack can be charged from 10-80 percent in 35 minutes and 39 minutes respectively. As claimed, the smaller battery offers a range of 350 kms while the larger battery pack provides 452 kms of range.
