Latest Update - Hyundai has released the prices of the Creta Electric SUV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Hyundai Creta Electric is available in 4 variants and is priced in the range of Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 23.50 lakh. It is available with two battery packs - 51.4kWh and 42kWh - offering 473km and 390km range, respectively.
The Creta Electric is available in 4 trim levels - Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence - and in total 6 variants. The Hyundai Creta Electric price in India starts at 1799000 and goes up to Rs 2349900 (ex-showroom).
The Creta Electric shares most of its features with the regular ICE-powered Creta SUV. Some of the features include automatic headlamps, leatherette upholstery, height adjustable headrest, electrically adjustable front seats, and driver's powered seat with memory function.
The top-spec variants come with voice enabled smart panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic temperature control, ventilated front seats, smartphone wireless charger, electric tailgate release, cooled glovebox, V2L (Vehicle-to-Load), and rain sensing wipers.
It comes with 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Bose premium sound 8-speaker system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10.25-inch digital driver's display. The electric SUV gets all-LED lighting system.
Hyundai is offering the Creta Electric SUV with two battery options - 42kWh and 51.4kW - with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The 42kWh battery pack with a single electric motor offers 133bhp of power, while the 51.4kWh battery pack comes equipped with a 169bhp, front-axle-mounted electric motor.
The long-range variant is claimed to achieve 0 to 100kmph acceleration in just 7.9 seconds. The Creta Electric is available in 3 drive modes - Eco, Normal and Sport. The electric SUV also comes with ADAS-linked regenerative braking system. It also features single pedal driving, which Hyundai calls i-Pedal technology.
The Hyundai Creta Electric with 42kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a certified range of 390km on a single charge. With a bigger 51.4kWh battery pack, the Creta EV range increases to 473km on a single charge.
The Creta EV battery can be charged from 10% to 100% in 4 hours using an 11 kW AC home charger. It also supports DC fast charging. Using a DC fast charger, the Creta Electric 51.4kWh battery can achieve 10% to 80% charge in 58 minutes.
The Creta Electric measures 4340mm in length, 1790mm in width and 1655mm in height. The SUV has a wheelbase of 2,610mm, which is similar to the Creta ICE. The SUV rides on 17-inch aero alloy wheels wrapped in 215/60 section low rolling resistance tyres. In fact, the Creta EV gets 17-inch spare steel wheel.
The Hyundai Creta Electric offers 433-litres of boot space, which is similar to the standard Creta. This is remarkable as ICE-platform based EVs offer smaller boot space than their ICE counterparts. Additionally, the Creta EV has 22-litres of front frunk to carry small luggage.
For safety and security, the Creta Electric gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), hill-start assist control, hill descent control, TPMS, disc brakes, 3-point seat belts for all seats, automatic headlamps, rear defogger with timer and, rear and front parking sensors.
The Hyundai Creta EV comes with advanced driver assistance system, called Hyundai SmartSense. The Level 2 ADAS features include forward collision warning and avoidance assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, driver attention warning, safe exit warning, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, leading vehicle departure alert, surround view and blind-spot view monitor, and rear cross-traffic warning and avoidance assist.
The Hyundai Creta Electric is available in 10 exterior colors including 5 metallic, 3 matte and 2 dual-tone. The metallic color options include Ocean Blue, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Starry Night and Abyss Black.
The Ocean Blue, Titan Grey and Robust Emerald colors are offered with matte finish. Dual-tone color options include Ocean Blue with Abyss Black roof and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.
The Hyundai Creta Electric directly rivals the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV and Mahindra BE 6. It will also challenge the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV and the Honda Elevate EV.
