The new-gen Hyundai Venue has entered the testing phase in India ahead of its launch which might happen this year. The Korean automaker, Hyundai will be offering this updated sub-compact SUV with design updates on the outside and a set of new features all around.
In the spied images, a heavily camouflaged test mule of the new Venue can be seen. The images show elements like a set of new horizontal taillights and new wheel covers for the steel wheels. This test mule is suspected to be a mid-spec because of its missing roof rails.
As for other design updates, we expect that the car gets new headlamps, fresh grille, revised front and rear bumpers, a set of new alloy wheels, and a tweaked tailgate. Inside, it is likely to boast a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, new upholstery, and a redesigned dashboard.
For the engine, the new Venue is likely to have the same engine-gearbox combinations as the current model. It will continue to use 83bhp, 1.2L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, 120bhp, 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol, and 100bhp, 1.5L diesel engines.
With its launch in the market, the new Hyundai Venue will compete with the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
