BYD has revealed the 2025 facelifted version of its Atto 3 electric SUV. The facelifted version includes some design tweaks, additional features, and a better ADAS system. The Atto 3 continues to offer two battery options in India with differing ranges.
The 2025 Atto 3 features a new look, with most design enhancements. The front bumper also receives a wider trapezoidal grille and narrower air intakes, making it look more premium. The headlamp design is unchanged, but the C-pillar scales have been substituted with thin silver window trim. This modification makes the SUV look sleeker and more refined. The new LED taillights feature a new, complex design, and the rear bumper has been reworked. The car also features fresh 18-inch alloy wheels, adding to its streamlined appearance.
The biggest upgrade on the Atto 3 is the new ADAS system, "God's Eye C." The sophisticated system employs a combination of three windshield-mounted cameras, 29 sensors, five long-range cameras, four surround-view cameras, and five millimetre-wave radars. The new ADAS supports ten high-speed navigation modes and six intelligent parking modes, providing greater safety and autonomous driving capabilities.
While there are no significant interior design updates, there may be some new upholstery materials and feature upgrades. The older model already came with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a panoramic sunroof. The Atto 3 will probably carry forward these features to the new model. It will probably also carry forward the 360-degree holographic imaging system of the old model.
The powertrain of the facelifted BYD Atto 3 will probably be the same as the previous model. The Indian variant will also come with two battery options. The first one is a 60.5 kWh battery that has a range of 420 km, and the second is a 49.9 kWh battery that has a range of 345 km. Both variants are driven by a 201bhp electric motor and 310 Nm of torque. This pairing provides decent performance with good enough range in a single charge.
