Renault Triber

The Renault Triber is in its first generation and has been specifically designed for the Indian market offering spacious cabin, modern features and good ride quality. It is manufactured to cater to the needs of a family that requires a versatile seven-seater vehicle that can be used for both commuting and weekend getaways. 

The vehicle is based on a modified version of the CMF-A (Common Module Family - Affordable) modular platform. The CMF-A platform is a low-cost platform that was jointly developed by Renault-Nissan and Daimler.

Design Highlights

The Renault Triber has a bold and muscular exterior design. This is demonstrated via sharp lines and creases alongside a sculpted body. Up front, the car provides a bold and imposing grille with chrome inserts and Renault's signature diamond badge. 

The headlamps offer sleek and swept-back design with projector lights and LED DRLs. Its bumper provides a silver skid plate and fog lamps with chrome surrounds. Moving to the sides, the New MODEL's profile is characterized by bold wheel arches and a sharply-posed shoulder line that adds to its muscular stance.

Towards the rear, the car gets a curvaceous tailgate featuring wrap-around tail lamps that look modern and stylish. The bumper features a silver skid plate and reflectors on either side. 

Renault Triber Interior and Features

Interior: Renault Triber's interior layout is spacious and modern with flexible seating options. It comes in a dual tone theme with a modern and clean design for its dashboard. It has circular A/C vents with silver accents. Creature comforts onboard the vehicle include cup holders, 60:40 split for the second-row seats and a 50:50 split for the third row of seats. 

Features: The New Triber provides features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Push-Button Start/Stop, power windows, a rear view camera, 12V sockets in 1st/2nd/3rd row, electrically adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), keyless entry, tilt adjustable power steering, cooled center console among others. 

Safety: In terms of safety features, Renault Triber gets dual front airbags, ABS + EBD with Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, traction control system, hill start assist, rear parking sensors with camera and pedestrian protection alongside others.

Renault Triber Price and Variants

New Renault Triber is available in 7 variants namely RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ. The Triber base RXE variant is priced at Rs. 609995 ex-showroom while the top-of-the-line variant enjoys a price tag of Rs 1122990 (ex-showroom).

Engine and Specification

The Triber comes powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that generates a maximum power output of 72 bhp and a peak torque of 96 Nm. The powertrain is mated to both a 5-speed manual and a 5-Speed automatic transmission (AMT).

The Renault Triber is available in 5 distinctive colours namely Cedar Brown, Ice Cool White, Electric Blue, Moonlight Silver and Metal Mustard.
