The new Duster is locally developed at Renault’s Chennai based manufacturing facility. Renault is aiming to achieve higher level of localisation to achieve competitive pricing. The new Renault Duster price in India starts at Rs ₹10.49 Lakhs* and extends up to Rs ₹18.49 Lakhs* for the top-end variant, ex-showroom.

The new Duster is equipped with multiple comfort and convenience features. Its top-end variant gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other key features include a digital driver’s display, HUD (Heads-Up Display), automatic climate control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, and others. 

Safety Features

For safety and security, the new Renault Duster gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control system and others as standard. The SUV also gets a 360-degree surround view camera, reverse camera, tyre pressure monitoring system and LEVEL 2 ADAS. The driver assistance system offers adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, auto high beam and others. 

Engine Options

The new Renault Duster is powered by a tried and tested 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces up to 156hp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit. The lower-spec models could get a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that also powers the Renault Kiger. 

Renault has confirmed that the new Duster will also get a hybrid powertrain, which is likely to be launched sometime in late 2026. 

Competition

New Renault Duster will rival the likes of the Maruti Victoris, Tata Curvv, Hyundai Creta, Citroen Aircross, Honda Elevate and Maruti Grand Vitara.
