The new Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 204hp at 4500-6000rpm and a peak torque of 320Nm between 1500-4400rpm. This engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) that sends power to all-4 wheels. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 7.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 224kmph.
