The new Maruti Suzuki electric Vitara is based on the e-HEARTECT platform, which is a skateboard platform. This compact electric SUV is equipped with a wide range of comfort and convenience features. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, fixed glass roof, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, 10-way powered driver’s seat, sliding & reclining rear seats, and flexible boot space.

For passenger’s safety and security, the new e Vitara gets 7 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, 360-degree surround view camera, ABS with EBD, traction control and others. It also comes with LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention, adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert and others.

Battery Specs and Range

The new e Vitara is available with two battery choices, a 48.8kWh and a 61.1kWh - both come with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The smaller battery version will offer a range of up to 344km, while the bigger battery variant offers a claimed range of up to 543km on a single charge.
