The Honda City relies on a 1.5-litre petrol engine to provide the needed power; the unit produces 119.34bhp, while it rolls in 145Nm of torque. It is fitted with the 6-speed manual transmission, or there is an option for a CVT (automatic) conversion if the driver prefers to drive a smooth one. The hybrid model leans on a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle petrol engine paired with an e-CVT. This helps to yield 107.50bhp and better fuel efficiency.
In terms of proportions, the sedan is 4549mm long, 1748mm wide and 1489mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2600mm. The sedan offers a segment-leading boot space of 506-litres, which is more than enough to accommodate your weekend suitcases or bags.
Honda City has stiff competition in the mid-sized sedan segment. It rivals the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
