This Japanese manufacturer sells 2 sedans and 1 SUV, which are manufactured at the brand's Tapukara based production plant in Rajasthan. Honda will also launch a wide range of new cars including all-new products, electric vehicles and new generations of existing cars.

The company's first offering in India was the Honda City sedan, which continues to be the brand’s best seller. The Honda Amaze is the compact sedan, while the HR-V is the mid-sized SUV in its line-up. Adding to it, the iconic Honda City sedan is in its 5th generation and is one of the most successful sedans in the country.

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) was established in 1995 as a joint venture between Honda Motor Company (HMCL) and Usha International called Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI). In 2012, the Japanese brand bought a 100 percent stake in the company and renamed it as Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL). Currently, the brand operates from its manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
