Audi Cars first entered India back in 2004 with a slew of CBU models. It was finally in 2007, that the German manufacturer decided to set up a base in the country under the Volkswagen Group umbrella. Since 2019, the company has been selling products under the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited banner with a production unit in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
