Latest Updates: Audi India launched the RS Q8 in August 2020 as the brand’s flagship performance ICE SUV.
Audi offers the RS Q8 in a sole Quattro variant, which is priced at Rs 2.22 crore (ex-showroom India).
This performance SUV gets four-zone climate control, power front seats, an air purifier, 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment, Audi Virtual Cockpit, an ambient lighting package, sports seats, all-wheel steering, Audi drive select with two configurable RS modes, and powered tailgate, etc.
Features like carbon ceramic brakes, Matrix LED headlamps, sports exhaust, Bang & Olufsen sound system, a heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, RS steel brakes with red brake callipers, RS Dynamic package and advanced suspension package are part of the optional kit.
The RS Q8 offers a real-world fuel efficiency of roughly 8 kmpl on highways.
For safety, this sportier version of the Q8 SUV gets multiple airbags, a traction control system, ISOFIX child seat anchors, traction control, hill assist, 360-degree camera, hands-free parking, and the Audi pre-sense system.
It comes in nine colour options: Deep Black, Matador Red, Orca Black, Daytona Gray, Navarra Blue, Glacier White, Floret Silver, Galaxy Blue and Dragon Orange.
At the heart of the RS Q8 lies a 4-litre V8-cylinder engine (600PS/800Nm) that powers all wheels of the SUV through Quattro AWD system, using an 8-speed automatic transmission. Audi claims it can hit the 100 kmph mark from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds.
The Audi RS Q8 is a 5-seater SUV measuring 5012mm in length, 1998mm in width, and 1751mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2998mm and a boot space of 605 litres.
