The Hyundai Exter appears more like a tall-boy hatchback. However, it gets some SUV-like styling elements. It has flared wheel arches, prominent plastic cladding and roof rails. The overall styling is based on Hyundai's global design language, which we have seen on the new Verna and Creta. It features a clamshell bonnet, a black-finished Parametric grille and H-pattern LED daytime running lamps. It has projector headlights and the 'Exter' lettering is placed above the signature grille.
It also comes with a stylish front bumper with heavy cladding and faux silver skid plate. The small SUV rides on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The blacked-out pillars and prominent roof rails give it a SUV-touch. The rear appears more in-line with hatchback design. Hyundai Exter Interior
The Exter cabin is inspired from other Hyundai entry-level cars including the Nios and the Aura. However, Hyundai has made some changes to give it a more premium feel. Instead of a dual-tone paint scheme, the SUV's cabin is finished in all-black colour scheme. There is a fully digital instrument console with a 4.2-inch multi-info display.
Similar to the Grand i10 Nios, it gets the patterned effect on the dashboard and around the gear lever. The higher-spec variants are offered with semi-leatherette seat upholstery.
