The Indian automobile market is getting a whole new wave of new car launches set for upcoming months. Among these, there is the launch of 2 powerhouse SUVs that are BYD Sealion 7 and Audi RS Q8 2025. Both of these SUVs will be hitting the market on the same day, 17th February 2025.

The Chinese automaker is all set to launch their all-new SUV based on the Seal, the Sealion 7. The announcement of the price and booking will take place on the same day as the launch with a token amount of Rs. 70,000.
The Sealion 7 SUV is going to be offered in two variants, Premium and Performance. It is powered by an 82.56kWh battery pack (producing 523 bhp and 690 Nm of torque), which is claimed driving range of up to 567km on a single charge.
Features highlights of this SUV include a 15.6-inch infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, panoramic glass roof, ADAS suite, 360-degree camera, digital instrument panel, dual-zone climate control, 11 airbags, and 12 12-speaker music system.
Along with the Sealion 7, Audi is set to launch the updated Audi RS Q8 in India, on 17th February 2025. For the price, it is expected to cost somewhere around Rs 2 crore.
The SUV will continue with its 4.0-litre V8, twin-turbo engine, but it claims to deliver a higher peak power output of 648.88 bhp and torque of 850 Nm. The power output claimed is higher than the current version.
This updated RS Q8 is confirmed to come with a 3D honeycomb pattern with carbon fiber elements on the grille.
