Lotus Cars is a British luxury vehicle manufacturer majorly owned by Chinese multinational Geely. The brands line-up consists of one electric SUV, the Eletre.
The story of Lotus began in 1952 outside London building cars for racing. The brand debuted in the Indian car market on 9 November 2023 with one dealer and distribution partner in New Delhi. Currently, the company sells only CBUs (Completely Built Units) in the country.
Lotus Cars price in India starts at Rs 2.55 crore (ex-showroom) for the Eletre and goes all the way up to Rs 2.99 crore (ex-showroom) for the more powerful Eletre R. The company is expected to launch the Evija and Emira Sports Coupe soon in the country.
