MINI Cars is a British automotive marque owned by the German carmaker BMW. The brand has a diverse portfolio of compact luxury vehicles namely the 3-door Cooper hatch, Cooper Convertible, Countryman, John Cooper Works and the all-electric Cooper SE. MINI targets the compact luxury car segment with its fun-to-drive offerings.

This British brand was founded back in 1959 and entered the Indian automobile market in 2012. The first products on sale were the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper Convertible and Cooper S Countryman. These models were sold in India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route.
