MG Cars has a limited range of four products in the Indian market. The brands fleet majorly consists of SUVs and EVs. The SUVs in the company line-up are the MG Astor, Hector and Gloster while the ZS EV is the only EV from the automaker. The manufacturer offers cars in 5/6/7 seat options.

MG Cars was founded in 1924 by William Morris. The brand is now part of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, the world's 7th largest automobile company. The company entered the Indian market in 2017 with a manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. The company’s first product in the country was the Hector SUV.

MG Cars price in India starts at Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the compact SUV Astor. The range extends to Rs 39.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the flagship Gloster SUV.

MG Cars recently launched the 2022 ZS EV Facelift and Astor compact SUV at Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

MG Cars is well known for making feature-rich vehicles with internet on the inside; however, its SUVs perform satisfactorily in terms of fuel efficiency. The Hector diesel is the most economical car with a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.41 kmpl. The Hector is followed by the Astor and the Gloster which return 14 kmpl and 12.35 kmpl mileage respectively.
