The new MG M9 electric MPV comes with LED lighting system, including LED headlamp, LED split type DRL and LED rear fog lamp. Some of the exterior features include 19-inch alloys, rear wiper, electric sliding doors and front wind-shield with Acoustic glass. 

Inside the cabin, the MPV gets 64 colour ambient lighting, IRVM, 12-way adjustable driver’s seat and 8-way adjustable co-passenger seat, front and rear seats with heating, ventilation and massage function, and all door window one touch auto up with anti pitch. The second-row Presidential seats comes with 16-way power adjustment. Other features include Open/Close Rear Sliding Doors, powered tailgate, wireless phone charger, V2L and V2V.

Safety Features of MG M9

For safety and security, the new MG M9 electric MPV gets 7 airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, a digital IRVM (Inside RearView Mirror), a tyre pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold. 

The new electric MPV also has a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). ADAS features include blind spot detection, overspeed warning, traffic sign speed limit warning, lane assist, forward collision warning, auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and others.

Range and Charging

The MG M9 electric MPV is equipped with a 90kWh battery pack with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The MPV offers a maximum power and torque output of 245PS and 350Nm, respectively. It is claimed to offer a certified range of 538km in a single charge. 

Using a 11kW AC charger, the 90kWh battery can achieve 0-100% charging status in about 10 hours. The battery can be fully charged in 90 minutes via a 160kW fast charger. 

Dimensions and Boot Space

The MG M9 electric MPV measures 5,270mm in length, 2,000mm in width and 1,840mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,200mm. The electric MPV has a ground clearance of 180mm. 

The MG M9 eMPV has a boot space of 945-litres with all seats in position. It can be further expanded to 1,720-litres by folding the third-row seats. The MPV also has a 55-litre frunk for additional storage.

The MG M9 electric MPV is available in 3 exterior colour choices - Metal Black, Concrete Grey with black roof and Pearl Lustre White with black roof. 

Competition

The MG M9 electric MPV won't have a direct rival in our market. It comes as an electric alternative to the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.
