Latest Updates: First unveiled in global markets in June 2024, the all-new BMW X3 SUV has recently made its India debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The SUV is available with petrol and diesel fuel options with prices starting at Rs 6190000, ex-showroom. The fourth-generation X3 SUV comes with significantly revised front and rear, inspired by the new age of BMW cars. 

The design and interior of the new BMW X3 inspired from the BMW 5 Series. Powertrain choices for the SUV includes both turbo petrol and diesel engines. Some of the design highlights include a larger grille, sleeker LED headlights with new DRL signatures, new 19-inch alloys and thinner Y-shaped tail-lights. Inside the cabin, the SUV gets 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 14.9-inch digital driver's display, and new heated sports seats.

Key Features of BMW X3

The new BMW X3 SUV features a curved display setup that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. In terms of features, the SUV gets adaptive LED headlamps, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, memory function for the driver seat, Harman Kardon system and wireless charger.

It also gets ambient lighting, powered tailgate, three driving modes - ECO PRO, COMFORT and SPORT, and electronically controlled dampers for added comfort and convenience. .

What Engine and Transmission options are available with the 2025 BMW X3?

Propulsion duties on the BMW X3 are carried out by a 2.0-litre diesel engine (190PS/400Nm), driving all four wheels with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It can even split the torque between the rear wheels with Automatic Differential Locks (ADB-X). Speaking of the performance, the SUV can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 7.7 seconds.

The petrol version gets a 2.0-litre turbo unit that produces 190PS. I is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 8.5 seconds.
