Latest Update - After showcasing the new BE 6 to public at 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Mahindra has now released the prices of the mid-level variants of the SUV Coupe. The Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV is now available in 5 variants including Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select and Pack Three. Except for the Pack Three, all the variants of the BE 6 are equipped with 59kWh battery pack. 

The Mahindra BE 6 is based on the INGLO architecture, which is claimed to be versatile enough to accommodate both RWD and AWD drivetrain. It is claimed to offer a comfortable commanding seat position. 

Mahindra faced a problem when it launched its first electric SUV, the BE 6e, in India. IndiGo, an established airline, sued Mahindra for using the name "6E" for the BE 6e electric SUV. In order to avoid more troubles, Mahindra changed the name of the BE 6e to BE 6.

The new Mahindra BE 6 is available in 3 trim levels - Pack One, Pack Two and Pack Three - and in total of 5 variants. The BE 6 electric SUV Coupe price in India starts at Rs 1890000 and extends up to Rs 2690000, ex-showroom.

Key Features of Mahindra BE 6

The Mahindra BE 6 is full of upgraded features such as race-ready performance, a digital cockpit with an illuminated logo, and Bi-LED headlamps with DRLs. It also includes sophisticated R18 wheels with an aero cover, a rich finish exterior cladding, twin super screens, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. 

Additionally, the SUV has Android Auto & Apple CarPlay through wireless connectivity, Superfast 5G networking, and preloaded apps for OTT, social media, news, and online shopping. Additional features include a built-in Amazon Alexa, 16 Harman Kardon speakers, push-button start, a spacious frunk & trunk, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and FATC with rear AC vents. Comfort-wise, it boasts a height-adjustable driver seat, tilt & telescopic steering, silent tires with NVH reduction, cooled console storage, and 65W Type C fast charging ports. The 60:40 split in the second-row seats with a 2-step recline add to the flexibility.

Battery Pack and Range

The Mahindra BE 6 is based on Mahindra's scalable and modular born-EV INGLO platform which has BYD's blade cell technology. It is packed with brand's 'compact three-in-one powertrain' that combines an electric motor, an inverter and the transmission. A rear-axle-mounted electric motor comes as standard. While the 59kWh battery pack produces 228hp, the 79kWh battery version produces 281hp. Torque output for both versions stand at 380Nm. 

It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 6.7 seconds. The EV offers three drive modes - Range, Everyday and Race. The e-SUV also has an additional Boost mode that gives 10 seconds of maximum torque.

Dimensions and Boot Space

The Mahindra BE 6 is fitted with the following dimensions: length of 4371mm, width of 1907mm, height of 1627mm, and a wheelbase of 2775mm. It has a 455-litre boot space and comes with a 45-litre frunk. In the vehicle, headroom stands at 1003mm, legroom at 1064mm, and shoulder room at 1436mm, making ample space for all passengers.

Safety Features of Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV

The Mahindra BE 6 is loaded with multiple safety features such as 6 airbags, a high-strength bodyshell, all-wheel disc brakes and brake-by-wire technology. In addition to all this, it also consists of an intelligent electronic brake booster equipped with 46 extra features and has a driver drowsiness detection feature with the electronic parking brake along with rear parking sensors incorporating HD camera, low tyre pressure warning, an electronic stability program (ESP), and TPMS. It also comes with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. 

Mahindra BE 6 Colours

The Mahindra BE 6 comes in eight monotone colours, including Tango Red, Desert Myst, Everest White Satin, Firestorm Orange, Desert Myst Satin, White Myst Satin, Deep Forest, and Napoli Black. The most noticeable of these colors is Firestorm Orange because it gives an impression of fiery colors that catch everyone's eye.
