Latest Updates: Back in August 2023, Audi India launched the limited-run S5 Sportback Platinum Edition, featuring plenty of cosmetic enhancements and added features over the regular model.
It is priced at Rs 77.32 lakh (ex-showroom).
It comes kitted with an LED lighting system, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment, 12.3-inch driver’s display, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, powered front seats with lumbar support, optional heads-up display, a Bang & Olufsen sound system (optional), ambient lighting, multiple drive modes and cruise control with speed limiter.
This petrol-powered luxurious sporty sedan is said to return a fuel efficiency of 10.6 km/l.
Safety is taken care of by multiple airbags, a tyre pressure monitor, ESC, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, traction control, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a rear-view camera and park assist.
One can opt for the S5 Sportback in eight different body shades: Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue, Chronos Grey, Daytona Grey, Progressive Red, Arkona White and Ascari Blue. On the other hand, the Platinum Edition can be had with either a District Green or Myhos Black shade.
The S5 Sportback comes with a 3-litre, six-cylinder TFSI petrol engine that makes 354PS/500Nm, paired with ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased Quattro all-wheel-drive system. It can complete the 0-100 kmph sprint within 4.8 seconds, before attaining a top speed of 250 kmph.
The S5 Sportback is a 4-door Sports coupe, which is 4765mm long, 1845mm wide and 1390mm tall. It possesses a wheelbase of 2825mm and a boot space of 465 litres.
Competition Check: Being a sportier version of the A5 sedan, the S5 Sportback fights against the likes of the BMW M340i.
