Audi A8 L

The Audi A8 L is the brand’s flagship sedan, which comes in 2 variants - priced between Rs. 1.34 crore to Rs 1.63 crore (ex-showroom). It also gets an armored blast-proof ‘Security’ version for VVIPs. The brand offers it in both 4-and 5-seater configurations. Underneath the hood, the A8L comes with a 3-litre turbo-petrol engine (340PS/500Nm) with a 48V mild-hybrid setup. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, driving all the wheels, letting the luxury sedan to go from 0 to 100 kmph in only 5.7 seconds. 

On the other hand, the A8L Security Edition gets a larger displacement 4-litre V8 turbocharged petrol engine (571PS/800Nm). It packs features like ventilated & massage seats, a dual 10.1-inch displays, a 12.69-inch driver’s display, a 1920W Bang & Olufsen 23-speaker sound system, four-zone climate control, 30-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, and park assist plus. Furthermore, the Security variant gets bulletproof glass and reinforced body panels, armored underbody, and ‘Run Flat’ tyres. In the Indian market, it goes up against the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series.
