Pros
Cons
The Maruti Suzuki 2024 Dzire price hasn't been released yet, but it should be within the general range for the subcompact sedan market. The new Dzire is expected to fall into the Rs. 6.5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs range, according to the earlier models (ex-showroom). A range like that would allow covering budget-conscious buyers as well as those ready to spend a little more on additional features.
On the 2024 Dzire, Maruti has continued with the same 1.2-litre engine. This is available in petrol and CNG guises. The 1.2-litre petrol engine churns out 80.87 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque for neat order between grunt and economy and provides 69.04 bhp of power and 102 Nm of torque for those who aim for green driving as well as more thrifty running costs.
Transmission options consist of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT for the petrol variant, while the CNG variant comes with a 5-speed manual. Talking about the mileage, the petrol variant is all geared up to deliver a mileage of 24.79 kmpl in the case of a manual and 25.71 kmpl in the case of the AMT. The CNG variant adds a surprise mileage of 33.73 km/kg.
The entry-level model, LXi, comes with the essential features. So, if you want something from the affordable Dzire, the LXi model is a budget choice that keeps the core features of the Dzire.
