The homegrown UV maker, Mahindra is all set to launch a significantly revised Scorpio-N in the country. First launched in 2022, the Mahindra Scorpio-N has been one of the best-selling SUVs in the country. However, it misses out on several features that are available in its siblings, including XUV700 and Thar Roxx.
A new media report claims that the 2025 Mahindra Scorpio-N will receive new variants, which will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof. The outgoing model comes with a single-pane electric sunroof. It is expected that the single-pane electric sunroof will be added to lower variants, while the higher-spec models will receive a panoramic sunroof.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N will also come equipped with a LEVEL 2 ADAS suite, which is likely to be the same system available in the XUV700. The ADAS tech is reportedly to offer features like smart pilot assist, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist and lane keep assist.
The new Scorpio-N will continue to be offered with the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre turbo diesel engines. The turbocharged petrol engine is good for 203hp and 370Nm of torque with MT and 380Nm with AT. The diesel engine offers two states of tune - 130hp/300Nm with RWD and 175hp/370Nm with 4WD. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
Mahindra is also testing the updated XUV700 and Thar 3-door. Both SUVs will be launched before the end of this financial year. The Mahindra XUV700 facelift will come with a triple screen setup, which we have already seen on the XEV 9e. On the other hand, the Thar 3-door will share design and interior features with the Thar Roxx. Moreover, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo will be revealed on August 15, 2025.
