Scorpio-N facelift to get a bigger touchscreen No mechanical changes Exterior will receive changes to plastic parts
The homegrown automaker, Mahindra has recently introduced the new XUV 7XO that’s essentially the XUV700 facelift. This SUV has received an overwhelming response from buyers, and commands a waiting period of around 3-6 months. In order to further boost sales, Mahindra will introduce the significantly revised Scorpio-N facelift that has been caught testing multiple times on the Indian roads.
First launched in 2022, the current Mahindra Scorpio-N has been the best-selling nameplate for the home-grown SUV maker. Since its launch, the SUV has not received any significant changes, expect for the LEVEL-2 ADAS inclusion last year. The company will soon give a major upgrade to the Scorpio-N in terms of looks, interior and a longer list of features.
The spy images reveal that the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift will retain its silhouette, and the majority of the changes will be made to its plastic parts. The front is completely redesigned, featuring a new front grille, revised headlamps with LED daytime running lamps and an updated bumper. The side profile will look similar to the current model, except for the new set of alloys. At the back, the SUV is expected to get an upgraded bumper and revised tail-lights.
No changes will be made to its dimensions. It measures 4662mm in length, 1917mm in width and 1857mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The SUV offers a ground clearance of 187mm.
Inside the cabin, the Scorpio-N facelift is expected to get a new larger touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos for immersive sound experience. Other additions could include a panoramic sunroof, a fully-digital TFT instrument cluster, an electrically adjustable front seats, driver seat with memory function, and others.
The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift won’t receive any mechanical changes. It will continue to be offered with the existing 2.2L turbo diesel and 2.0L turbo petrol engines. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes - 132PS and 175PS, while the turbo petrol unit produces 200PS. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
