The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift features subtle yet noticeable design improvements. Spy images reveal redesigned front and rear bumpers along with a new set of five-spoke alloy wheels. Besides, the electric SUV will get a polished V-shaped garnish, updated light signatures, and a longer rear spoiler—extended by 50 mm.
The updated model also sees a slight increase in dimensions. The overall length is now 4,655 mm, which is 20 mm longer than the outgoing model, while the width (1,890 mm), height (1,605 mm), and wheelbase (3,000 mm) remain unchanged.
Inside, the Ioniq 5 facelift now includes more physical buttons for easy access to commonly used features. It also offers a wireless charging pad, a new steering wheel with interactive pixel lights, and support for OTA (Over-The-Air) updates for the infotainment system.
On the safety front, it adds features like a Hands-On Detection (HOD) steering wheel, Lane Keeping Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, and 8 airbags.
Globally, the facelifted Ioniq 5 is offered with an upgraded 84 kWh battery pack, delivering 225 bhp of peak power and 350 Nm of torque. The RWD version boasts a WLTP-certified range of up to 570 km on a single charge. It remains to be seen whether this larger battery pack will be available in the Indian version.
While Hyundai India has yet to announce an official launch date, the facelifted Ioniq 5 is expected to arrive later in 2025.
