Hyundai India is expanding its in-car connectivity offerings with the rollout of its Wired to Wireless Adapter to six more models. After first launching the feature with the Alcazar in April 2025, the brand is now bringing this adapter to the Grand i10 Nios, Exter, Verna, Aura, Venue, and the Venue N Line. With this update, more Hyundai owners can enjoy the convenience of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without relying on USB cables.
The wired-to-wireless adapter is designed to convert existing wired connections into wireless ones, offering a hassle-free way to use smartphone apps like navigation, music, calls, and messaging through the vehicle’s infotainment system. It is priced at Rs 4,499 and is compatible only with Hyundai models equipped with the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Hyundai’s smaller 8-inch infotainment systems already support wireless smartphone connectivity as standard.
While seven Hyundai models now support the adapter, the carmaker has confirmed that more vehicles will soon join the list. Upcoming compatible models include the Creta, Creta N Line, the soon-to-be-launched Creta Electric, i20, i20 N Line, and the Tucson. This phased rollout is part of Hyundai’s broader strategy to make connected tech more accessible across its lineup.
In parallel with the adapter expansion, Hyundai has also introduced a new SX+ variant in the Verna range. Available with both Manual and iVT gearbox options, the new trim is aimed at offering a more premium and tech-loaded choice for sedan buyers. Combined with the infotainment upgrade, the Verna now becomes an even stronger contender in its segment.
