The Scorpio is Mahindra's top-selling model and contributes over 30% of overall sales. Now, the brand is expected to launch an all-new Black Edition for Scorpio N SUV in India. The new edition has also been spotted at a dealer year recently with blacked-out exterior and interior. Though the automaker offers a total of 6 color options among which two are black shades, it still has some chrome used across the overall sides.
Let's have a look at this new black edition and what is different about it from the rest.

This new edition is likely to be based on the top-spec Z8 L variant for an enhanced driving experience. The SUV would feature an all-black exterior with a blacked-out bumper, side molding, window trim, roof rails, black ORVMs, and alloy wheels. The front grille and door handles will also have a dark chrome finish.

The Scorpio N Black Edition does not get any major updates except the cosmetic changes, it stays the same with LED projector fog lamps, LED sequential turn indicators, ski-rack, 18-inch alloy wheels and vertically stacked LED tail lamps.

As the new edition is likely to be based on the top-spec, the customer would be getting a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as features such as ventilated front seats, 2-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and a sunroof.
Moreover, there would be an all-black interior with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the center offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Mahindra Scorpio N offers two engine options, a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol producing 198 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-liter diesel that delivers 173 BHP and 400 Nm. These units are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
