Mahindra's first-born electric SUVs, XEV 9e and BE 6 got an exceptional response from customers. These electric SUVs held up to 30,179 bookings within the first 24 hours. It was seen that the bookings for the top-spec of both models are nearly 75%. The automaker's newest electric SUVs have resonated strongly with customers for various reasons.
Have a look at some reasons that are behind the impressive response on bookings from customers.
Both of Mahindra's newest electric SUV variants come with tech features, a futuristic design, and the biggest battery pack of 79 kWh.
Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three: Major Highlights
The top-spec of XEV 9e is the Pack Three which is priced at Rs 30.50 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is powered by a 79 kWh battery claimed to offer the MIDC range of 656km on a single charge.
The XEV 9e features a futuristic design with a coupe roofline, an upright bonnet with a closed-off grille, inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs, and aerodynamically styled 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV offers gloss back cladding and high-ground clearance.
As for the interior of the cabin, the SUV is tech-loaded with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, Level 2+ ADAS, 360-degree surround view camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a HUD, wireless connectivity, electrically adjustable driver's seat and many more.
Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three: Key Highlights
The Pack Three (top-spec) is priced at Rs. 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is powered by a 79 kWh battery that claims a range of 683km on a single charge.
The exterior of the SUV features C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights and a sequential lighting effect on the rear lights. The car comes with electrically deployable flush door handles.
As for the interior, you get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and touch-sensitive switches on the steering wheel and center console. This top variant also comes with a powered tailgate, keyless entry, selfie camera, multi-color ambient lighting, and illuminated details on the panoramic roof.
For safety, this electric vehicle offers 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, auto park assist, an augmented reality (AR) heads-up display (HUD), driver assistance systems, and auto-tilt ORVMs to enable safer parking.
