New Amaze will be launched on December 4, 2024 To be based on a new platform Styling and interior inspired by City and Elevate
India's most popular sub-compact sedan, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, has finally received a much-needed makeover. The all-new Dzire with several segment-leading features & highly fuel efficient engine has been launched at an introductory price tag of Rs 6.79 lakh. Its direct rival, the Honda Amaze is also ready to enter the new generation. Ahead of the launch on December 4, Honda Cars India has released the design and interior sketches of the new-gen Amaze compact sedan.
The latest teasers confirm that the new Honda Amaze styling is inspired from the new Elevate mid-sized SUV and the City sedan. Not just exterior, the interior of the sedan looks similar to the cabin of the Elevate. Let's talk in detail about the new-gen Amaze design and interior.

The cabin sketch shows familiar design, which appears identical to the one offered on the Elevate SUV. There is a large 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit dominating the dashboard. The HVAC controls, semi-digital instrument console and multi-functional steering wheel are sourced from the Elevate mid-sized SUV.
The new Honda Amaze gets wireless phone charging, dual-tone black and beige interior finish with silver accents and Lane-Watch camera. The sedan will also receive camera-based ADAS suite, which will make Amaze the first model to offer this safety tech. ADAS tech will offer features like adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance assist, lane assist, auto high beam and others.
The new-gen Amaze receive all-new front fascia, which offers a mix of Elevate and City elements. The upper half of the front including headlamp setup, LED DRLs and grille resembles the Elevate SUV, while the lower half including bumper, air-dam and fog lamp housing looks closer to that of the City sedan.

The front design looks like a slightly downsized version of the Elevate. It features the similar headlamp design with LED daytime running lamps with sleeker chrome trim. There is a hexagonal-shaped grille that appears smaller and sharper than the one offered on the Elevate. The bumper design seems identical to the City, featuring similar fog lamp housing and central air dam.
The new-gen Honda Amaze side profile appears aggressive, featuring a sharp character like that runs across the length. It comes with newly styled multi-spoke alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna and sleek ORVMs with integrated blinkers. The rear profile also appears identical to the City sedan, featuring similar-shaped tail-lights and number plate housing on the tailgate. The lower bumper also appears elegant with clean surface.
The new-gen Honda Amaze will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that powers the outgoing model. This engine is capable of producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
