Good news for sedan lovers! Toyota is bringing the new-generation Camry to the Indian market. The luxury sedan, in its 9th generation, will come with an improved design and feature-packed interior. It will be manufactured locally in India and will challenge the BYD Seal and Skoda Superb in the segment.
Here is what we can expect from the 2025 Camry:
Toyota Camry is one of the stylish sedans an individual can buy in India. With the next-generation model, Toyota will use better design elements for a more sophisticated look, distinguishing it from the current model.
It will feature a broader front grille and more narrowed headlights with C-shaped DRLs. It will also have low slung stance, lowered roofline, 18-19 inch wheel sizes (depending on the variant), and a lowered roofline for a more sporty appearance.
Along with the design updates, the new Camry will also receive fresh exterior colour options. Currently, it is available in seven paint choices including Burning Black, Attitude Black, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica, Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Metal Stream Metallic. Now, two more colours - Heavy Metal and Ocean Gem will be added to the list.
The luxury sedan, in its new avatar, will receive a more premium cabin theme with loads of features. It will get a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, 12.3-inch driver display, 10-inch heads-up display, dual zone AC, panoramic sunroof, and 5 USB ports.
The new-gen Camry will come with the latest suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This kit will include features like rear-cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
The new Camry will take power from the 2.5-litre petrol engine. Paired with two electric motors, this 4-cylinder unit can produce a combined power output of 222 bhp. It will also have the eCVT that will send power to the front wheels.
