The highly anticipated Tata Curvv has been spied several times on the Indian roads. Recently, the production-spec model of the upcoming Coupe SUV has been spotted, revealing its interior and range of tech features.
Based on the spy images, the production-spec Curvv has a similar dashboard as the Tata Nexon. It also features a similar layout with the free-floating touchscreen above the sleek central AC vents. The steering wheel has a 4-spoke unit with the illuminated Tata logo. Besides, the Curvv is expected to have the same drive mode selector and the automatic gear shifter offered in Nexon. However, it will have a different cabin theme.
Other expected features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
On the safety front, the upcoming Curvv is likely to offer 6 airbags, front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, and electronic stability control. The car is also expected to get a full suite of ADAS comprising features like autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist.
Tata Curvv is expected to offer a new 1.2-litre T-GDi (Turbo-Petrol) engine while its 1.5-litre diesel unit will be borrowed from Nexon. The electric powertrain of the upcoming Curvv could also be on offer. Based on Tata's Gen2 platform, the Currv EV is likely to offer a range of up to 500 km.
Tata is expected to launch the Curvv in our country in the latter half of 2024. As for the price, it is likely to hover around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
