Suzuki has unveiled the Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition, exclusively designed for the Japanese market. With this edition, the OEM will end production of one of its most popular hot hatchbacks. Priced at 2,329,800 yen (approximately ₹12.63 lakh), the Final Edition will be produced in limited numbers for a specific period, from March to November 2025. The model will go on sale on March 19, 2025. The new Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition features a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular Swift Sport.
Under the hood, the new Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition is powered by the same 1.4L, 4-cylinder K14C turbocharged petrol engine. Paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox, this motor delivers a maximum power output of 138 bhp and 230 Nm of torque. The hot hatch comes with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration.
The Swift Sport Final Edition features black accents on the exterior, enhancing its sporty appeal. At the front, it sports the signature grille with a gloss black finish. Design highlights include special decals on the C-pillars, newly-designed 17-inch alloy wheels in a black finish, and red brake calipers. This special edition also features a 'Swift Sport' emblem with red and black lettering.
The interior has a fresh look with faux aluminum inserts on the dashboard and door pads. It includes 'Sport' lettering and a decal reading 'ZC33S powered by Suzuki' near the gear lever. Additionally, the carmaker offers multiple optional aero accessories with this special edition, such as light garnishes and more decals. The rest of the interior layout and features remain identical to the regular Swift Sport.
As of now, Maruti Suzuki has no plans to introduce the Swift Sport in the Indian market. Several factors influence this strategy, including the price-sensitive nature of the market. The hot hatchback is manufactured in limited numbers for select global markets. In India, it would arrive via the CBU (completely built unit) route, which would attract high import duties and significantly increase its price. Localizing production may not be viable due to the niche nature of the segment. Furthermore, most Indian buyers prioritize fuel efficiency over performance, making the Swift Sport an unsuitable fit for market requirements.
