The current-gen Ford Everest has been one of the top-selling SUVs in markets like Australia. The company has recently introduced the new Everest Tremor variant, which has been receiving an overwhelming response from buyers. For people not in the know, Ford had introduced the Everest Tremor variant in August 2024.
Ford has already sold 370 units of the Everest Tremor in Australia, which is significantly higher than expected. This variant accounts for a significant Everest sales this year. In order to meet the rising demand, the Blue Oval has increased the production capacity.
The Ford Everest Tremor is packed with an array of off-road specific features. It gets a signature front grille with factory-fitted auxiliary LED lightings, a steel bash plate, two hooks, and Asphalt Black wheel arch moldings. The SUV rides on uniquely designed 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires.
The cabin has also receive some unique interior touches. The SUV is packed with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Ford's latest SYNC software, a 12.4-inch digital instrument console, a multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and an ADAS tech. It has the same features upgrade as the rest of the 2025 Everest lineup including a 400W power inverter with a socket.
The SUV is powered by the same 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 247bhp and 600Nm of torque. Power is directed to all-4 wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Tremor also gets Rock Crawl Drive Mode along with the existing six on-and off-road drive modes.
It was speculated that Ford will return to India with Everest SUV in 2025. However, the company is still evaluating what products to launch in our market. The American brand is planning to manufacture affordable EVs for India and global markets at its Chennai based manufacturing unit. The Everest launch is yet to be finalized.Read Full Report Here
