Innova Hycross hits 2 lakh sales milestone Crysta to be discontinued in early 2027 Low-cost Innova Hycross coming in 2027
Since its launch in November 2022, the Toyota Innova Hycross has been receiving strong response from buyers. The 7-seater MPV has achieved 2 lakh sales milestone in the Indian market. The company is also planning to introduce a low-cost version of the Hycross MPV. This model will target fleet operators, as the Innova Crysta diesel is set to be discontinued in early 2027.
The Innova Hycross is built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA), and powered by a 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric System. It is equipped with a 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine and an e-drive sequential shift, offering 186hp. The hybrid system enables the vehicle to operate 60% of the time in electric (EV) mode. Additionally, select variants of the Innova Hycross will come with 2.0L gasoline engine producing 174PS of max power.
Available at a starting price of Rs 19.53 lakh, ex-showroom, the Toyota Innova Hycross comes with an 8-year self-charging hybrid battery warranty. The model has secured a 5‑Star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP).

Key features include powered Ottoman second row seats, ventilated front seats, dual-zone AC, Toyota Safety Sense, 65+ connected features, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit, digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof and others.
