Volkswagen is all prepared for the global debut of its smallest electric hatchback, ID EVERY1, on March 5, 2025. The German automaker has released design sketches and teaser images so far. The design sketch shows that this electric hatchback will introduce a new, much-simplified interpretation of the brand's current design language.

The first look of the rear end through the design sketch posted by Volkswagen’s exterior designer, Lorenzo Oujeili shows a design similar to the model in the international market, up! and ID.3. Some of the concept car's typical design features are expected such as big wheels, a squat stance, and narrow windows. Other features include a visor-like windscreen and blacked-out A-pillars matched to a solid, wide C-pillar, unfussy front with oblong graphics on the nose that incorporated simple LEDs paired with upright running lights.
The brand has not revealed much about the concept car or what the production model would feature. There would be limitations to the production-spec of the concept, as the brand needs to keep costs down.
ID EVERY1 is said to be developed under the shadow of Brand Group Core like the B-segment ID.Polo, within the main Volkswagen Group.
The CEO Thomas Schäfer of VW has referred to this upcoming new ID EVERY1 as "an affordable, high-quality and profitable electric Volkswagen from Europe for Europe, that’s the Champions League of automotive engineering!”
The automaker said the base price for this new entry-level electric model will be about €20,000 (which is about Rs 18,18,500).
