Kia will reveal the prices for the newly revealed Carens Clavis MPV in India on May 23, 2025. Interested buyers can book the new MPV online or at authorised Kia dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. It is basically a more premium and feature-loaded version of the existing Carens, which is now available in a single trim levels.
Base variant - Rs 11 lakh
Top variant - Rs 20.5 lakh
The new Carens Clavis will be available in both 6-seat and 7-seat configurations with former having captain seats in the second-row. It will come with seven trim levels - HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX and HTX+. The existing Carens is now available in single variant with three engine options with a manual gearbox.

Earlier, the Kia Carens line-up was available in the price bracket of Rs 10.60 lakh to Rs 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Kia Clavis will be positioned as a premium MPV and is expected to carry a starting price of over Rs 11 lakh. Kia believes that Indian buyers are ready to shed extra to take home premium and luxury experience, which is also evident from the good response for the recently launched Kia Syros.
The Kia Carens Clavis is expected to be priced around Rs 11 lakh for the base variant with top-end model could cost around Rs 20.5 lakh, ex-showroom. It will directly rival the Maruti Suzuki XL6, which costs Rs 11.83 lakh to 14.87 lakh. The Clavis will also rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (Rs 8.97 lakh - 13.26 lakh) and Toyota Rumion (Rs 10.54 lakh - 13.83 lakh).
The Carens Clavis comes equipped with several segment-leading comfort and convenience features. The base HTE variant also loaded with handful of features including semi-leatherette seat upholstery, third-row 50:50 split seats with recline function, power windows for all windows, keyless entry, 6 airbags, TPMS, hill start assist and hill descent control, electronic stability control, disc brakes on all wheels and others.

The higher-spec variants get LED lighting system, leatherette seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and digital driver’s display, auto up/down for all windows, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree camera and dual-camera dash-cam.
Top-spec HTX+ variant gets ventilated front-row seats, second-row captain seats, 4-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, paddle shifters, 8-speaker Bose sound system, rain sensing wipers and LEVEL-2 ADAS. The ADAS features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and others.
The Kia Carens Clavis comes with three engine options - a 113bhp, 1.5-litre petrol, a 114bhp, 1.5L diesel and a 157bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard. Other gearbox options include a 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT with turbo petrol, and a 6-speed torque convertor for turbo diesel engine.
