Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automaker, has launched the new Alto K10 S-CNG in the country. Priced at Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the car is offered in a single VXI variant. Launched in August 2022, the Alto K10 has quickly become the best-selling car in India with over 21,000 units sold.
At the launch, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The Alto brand has been a symbol of how Maruti Suzuki has evolved in response to customers' shifting desires. The Alto continued to be the best-selling vehicle in the country for 16 consecutive years, and we are convinced that the launch of the S-CNG model will further strengthen its appeal, thanks to its stellar fuel-efficiency.”
He further added, “I am delighted to share that we have sold more than 1 million S-CNG vehicles so far, which has helped save over 1 million tons of CO2 emissions.
The Alto K10 S-CNG is only available in the VXI mid-spec variant and comes equipped with power windows, power steering, speed-sensing door locks, Smartplay dock with two speakers, and more. Standard safety equipment includes ABS and dual airbags.

Maruti claims a fuel-efficiency figure of 33.85 km/kg for the new Alto K10 S-CNG.
