Nissan is all set to introduce the X-Trail SUV in the Indian market on August 1, 2024. The company has confirmed that it will introduce a new mid-sized SUV, a 3-row SUV and an all-new entry-level electric car in the country. Moreover, the Magnite compact SUV will receive a mid-life update.
It is confirmed that the Nissan Magnite facelift will arrive in our market before the end of this year, most probably in November-December. However, the exact launch date is yet to be revealed. The updated model has already been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads.
The spy images reveal that the Magnite facelift will receive subtle design changes and an upgraded interior. The company won't make any changes to its mechanics. In terms of styling, the sub-4 meter SUV is likely to get a slightly revised front fascia. It will have a revised front grille and headlamp cluster and new bumper. Other design changes could include tweaked rear bumper and new set of alloy wheels along with new colour options.
The cabin of the 2025 Nissan Magnite could get a new colour scheme and better quality material. Nissan is likely to add some features like an auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated seats and soft-touch materials on dashboard and internal door panels.
The small SUV could also receive a single-pane sunroof. Most of the features will be sourced from the current car. It gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, keyless entry with push start/stop button, and Nissan Connect telematics.
It will continue to be offered with the 1.0L, 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated and 1.0L turbo petrol engines. While the former is good for 71bhp and 96Nm, the turbo unit produces 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission), and a CVT automatic.
