The Honda City 5th Generation is the most affordable car to offer ADAS in India. Called the Honda Sensing Technology, the upgraded sedan comes equipped with a high-performance wide-angle front camera that alerts the driver and minimizes the risk of accidents. Other ADAS features include Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keep Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High-Beam, and more. It should be noted that the brand offers the ADAS suite across V, VX and ZX trims.
In terms of pricing, the 5th generation City is offered with a starting range of just Rs 11.55 lakh (ex-showroom) which can go up to Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
The all-new Hyundai Verna is another mid-size sedan to offer ADAS at an affordable price. Available only on the SX (O) trim, the brand provides cutting-edge autonomous level 2 ADAS system for a safer driving experience. Some of its ADAS features include Forward Collision, Blind-spot Collision, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, and more.
In terms of pricing, Hyundai has set the starting price of the Verna at Rs 10.96 lakh (ex-showroom). This can go up to Rs 17.37 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec variants.
The midsize SUV, MG Astor was among the first budget friendly cars to offer ADAS tech. The autonomous Level 2 in MG Astor not just makes your driving more comfortable and intuitive, but also keeps your safety at the forefront. Intelligent Headlamp Control, Speed Assist System (Intelligent Mode), and Lane Departure Prevention are some of the ADAS features equipped in this compact SUV.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the MG Astor SUV is priced at Rs 10.51 lakh and extends to Rs 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra XUV700 is another affordable ADAS-equipped SUV. In fact, this was the first three-row SUV to feature ADAS tech in its segment. Safety features on the new model include Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, and more. Although Mahindra offers ADAS tech from the top-spec AX7 variant, the Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring features are reserved to customers who opt for the luxury pack.
Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 start from Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom) which can go up to Rs 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant.
Both MG Hector and the MG Hector Plus come equipped with ADAS tech on the top-spec Savvy Pro trim. Some of its ADAS features include Auto Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and more.
The price of this spacious SUV starts from Rs 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom) which goes up to Rs 22.11 lakh (ex-showroom).
