Despite being a CBU, the newly launched Audi A8L is far more aggressively priced than its rivals. At almost Rs 30 lakh less than the Mercedes Benz S-Class and Rs 13 lakhs less than the current generation BMW 7 Series, the Audi makes a special case for itself.
In terms of variant line-up, while the S-Class and the A8L are limited to two variants, the 7 -Series gives flexibility with as many as 5 trims on offer.

When it comes to the dimensions, all three cars are closely matched. The Audi tops the list as the longest saloon while the Mercedes takes the cake as the car with the best headroom and shoulder room in this comparison. In terms of the wheelbase, it’s a tie between the 7-Series and the S-Class both measuring 3216 mm.
Being the flagship luxury models of their respective brands, the cars tick every box with exuberant materials and high tech features.
Each vehicle gets its own version of LED headlamps and taillights, premium audio system, multi-colour ambient lighting and air suspension with active damping among others. In addition to this all cars get a reclining rear seat with different levels of messaging and ventilation functions.
Powertrain is one department where all the cars vary from each other. For instance, the BMW and the Mercedes are available with both a petrol and a diesel engine option while the Audi is only available with a petrol mild hybrid option only. Below the chart gives a clear idea of how the saloons compare in terms of power figures and transmission options.
