The Iconic Mahindra Scorpio entered the third generation in 2022. Called the Mahindra Scorpio N, the lifestyle SUV promises to offer modern styling, feature-loaded cabin and robust performance. The SUV is designed and developed on the new ladder-on-frame chassis, which is claimed to be more reliable and offers smooth driving experience. The SUV targets those looking at a practical SUV that offers the best of two worlds - offers everyday practicality and off-road credentials.
The prices of the Mahindra Scorpio N vary depending on the variant and optional features selected. The base model is available at a starting price of Rs 13.85 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec model is tagged at Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Scorpio N is available with two engine options - a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 200bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque. On other hand, the diesel engine offers two states of tune - 130bhp/300 Nm and 172bhp/379Nm.
Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The SUV gets a rear-wheel-drive setup as standard. On the other hand, the diesel trim is offered with a four-wheel-drive layout.
Dimensionally, the SUV is 4,662mm long, 1,917mm wide and 1,857mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The SUV has a large fuel tank of 57-litres capacity. It has a ground clearance of 187mm, which is lower compared to the regular Scorpio Classic
The petrol variants of the SUV offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 13.67kmpl. On the other hand, the diesel Scorpio N returns an impressive fuel economy of 18.57kmpl. The automatic diesel is claimed to offer a mileage of 16.2kmpl.
The Scorpio N lifestyle SUV is packed with a wide range of comfort and convenience features. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone connectivity, a dual-zone climate control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, power windows, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, engine start/stop and wireless charging. It is fitted with a single-pane electric sunroof and an electric adjustable ORVM.
For safety and security, the SUV is packed with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Parking Sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Driver Drowsiness Detection, and ISOFIX.
