With the base Maruti Brezza LXi variant starting at Rs. 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom), the Brezza has been competitively priced for the budget buyer. The top-end petrol variant goes to Rs. 14.14 lakh, while the ZXi S dual tone CNG is cheaper by Rs. 1.90 lakh but misses out on an automatic transmission and features that may be important for some at this price point.
While the LXi model doesn’t get an automatic gearbox, the upgrade compatible with the other variants comes at a whopping price tag of Rs. 1.5 lakh. If you are on a limited budget then consider buying the LXi trim and getting after-market accessory additions to save cost. Brezza’s VXi line is decently impressive for sure but isn’t priced well.
Its final ZXi line of trims has the widest price band from Rs. 11.14 lakh to Rs. 14.14 lakh and major differences lie in the transmission, features and paint schemes. If six airbags are a priority for you, go with the ZXi+ at Rs. 12.58 lakh which is cheaper than the top-spec car by Rs.1.56 lakh, providing exceptional value for money. Moreover, in the CNG guise, you get an astounding mileage of 25.51 kmkg but it’s only available with a manual transmission.
