On the inside, the fourth-gen Swift will feature a similar interior to the modern Maruti Suzuki cars, i.e., Baleno and Fronx. Apart from this, the hatchback will come equipped with a new 9.0-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system which will be compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
As far as safety is concerned, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will come equipped with multiple airbags, Reverse Parking Camera, Electronic Stability Control, ABS with EBD, and others. Media reports also suggest that the car might get an ADAS suite that will include features like Automatic High Beam Assist, Lane Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and others.
Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the powertrain details for the upcoming Swift. However, the reports suggest that the new version of Swift might receive a hybrid unit as the automaker is focused on delivering a high-efficiency engine. Reports also suggest that the new Swift will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol unit that can produce 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties could be handled by a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
